The Recipe
Zero cooking, zero baking — just a food processor, three ice cube trays, and the freezer. High protein, low fat, built for cutting season without giving up the chocolate.
Prep Details
Ingredients
- 11 oz can Vanilla Nurri Ultra-Filtered Milk Shake, divided
- 2 medium ripe bananas (about 1 cup mashed)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup + 2 tablespoons dry PB2 powder, divided
- 6 tablespoons water, to reconstitute half the PB2 into a paste
- 48 packets Splenda Original Sweetener
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats
- 4 scoops (about 8-10 tablespoons) unflavored whey protein isolate
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup Rice Krispies cereal, or finely crushed plain rice cakes
- 1 pinch salt, optional
Instructions
- Prep the peanut butter paste. In a small bowl, mix ½ cup of the dry PB2 powder with the water until it forms a smooth peanut-butter consistency. Set the remaining dry PB2 aside.
- Load the liquids. Pour the Vanilla Nurri protein shake into the food processor. Add the peeled bananas and vanilla extract. Process on high until completely smooth.
- Add powders, paste, and oats. Add the PB2 paste, the remaining dry PB2, the Splenda packets, quick-cooking oats, whey protein isolate, and cocoa powder directly into the processor.
- Blend the base. Process until a thick, cohesive chocolate protein dough forms, scraping down the sides and pulsing as needed if the mixture is too thick.
- Fold in the textures. Add the raisins and Rice Krispies last. Pulse gently 5 to 10 times, just until evenly distributed without crushing the crispies completely.
- Scoop and freeze. Spoon the mixture into the ice cube trays, pressing firmly into each of the 48 slots. Tap the trays on the counter to knock out air pockets.
- Set. Freeze flat for at least 2 hours until solid. Pop the bites out and store in a freezer-safe zip-top bag. Eat straight from the freezer.

Cutting season asks a lot of people — it asks them to say no to things they love, over and over, until the mirror agrees it was worth it. I wanted my gym friends to have one less thing to say no to. Same chocolate, same banana, same ritual of pressing dough into a tray and waiting on the freezer — just built to fit inside the discipline instead of fighting it.
