Pyramid Tarot

A Solitaire Working in Pairs

Not every card stands alone. Most of what we carry finds its weight in relationship — one thing balanced against another, until the sum settles. Pyramid Tarot is a solitaire game built on the fifty-six Minor Arcana: find the pairs that sum to fifteen, clear them from the triangle, and let the pyramid empty itself, one working at a time.

How It Works

Twenty-eight cards are laid in a triangle, seven rows deep. A card is free to play once both cards resting beneath it are cleared. Tap two uncovered cards — Ace through King, valued one through fourteen — whose numbers add to fifteen, and they're gone. The remaining twenty-eight cards wait in the stock; turn them one at a time into the waste pile, where the top card is always in play. Full instructions live inside the game itself — look for the "How to Play" button.

The Goal

Clear all twenty-eight cards from the pyramid.

How to Move a Card

  • Click an uncovered pyramid card, or the top card of the waste pile, to select it.
  • Click a second uncovered card whose value adds to fifteen with the first, and both clear.
  • Click the selected card again to deselect it.

Uncovering Cards

A pyramid card is playable once the two cards resting beneath it — directly below and to either side — are both cleared. The bottom row is always uncovered.

Stock & Waste

Click the stock pile to turn a new card into the waste. When the stock is empty, click it again to reshuffle the waste back into the stock — you have a limited number of reshuffles per game.

Card Values

Ace = 1, through 10, then Page = 11, Knight = 12, Queen = 13, King = 14. Suit doesn't matter — only the sum.

There's no reading here, no working, no message from the cards — just the shuffle, the sum, and the quiet satisfaction of a triangle cleared. Sometimes that's its own kind of magic.
