When to Use This Layout
This is not a spread for a personal question. Save it for the moments when you are reading for a group:
- Weekly or recurring community check-ins, like Tarot Tuesday, where you are reading the room rather than one person
- Facebook group or coven pulls, where many people will see themselves somewhere in the same seven cards
- Moments when you want to understand what a group is built on, what it costs, and where it is headed
- Breaking in a brand new deck, since a seven-card pull gives you a real feel for how she wants to speak
The Seven Positions
1 · The Core Purpose (Center)
The central anchor. The reason this collective has formed at all.
2 · The Visible Synergy (Top)
The conscious strengths and open celebrations within the group — what everyone can see and name.
3 · The Hidden Undercurrent (Bottom)
The unconscious fears, unexpressed tension, or shadow work the group is avoiding.
4 · What the Individuals Give (Left)
The inputs, energy, and sacrifices members are offering to the whole.
5 · What the Individuals Receive (Right)
The rewards, growth, and support members take back from the group in return.
6 · The Immediate Lesson (Below Center)
The current teaching moment or immediate hurdle the group has to cross.
7 · The Collective Evolution (Above Center)
The highest future potential and ultimate destiny of the group.
Spatial Arrangement
Place Card 1 in the absolute center. Surround it with Card 2 directly above and Card 3 directly below, Card 4 to the far left and Card 5 to the far right. Then fill in the vertical axis: Card 6 sits in the space between the center and the bottom card, and Card 7 sits between the center and the top card.

Two of Wands
What comes back to members is possibility — a wider view, a felt sense that there's more than one road forward. This is the world-in-your-hands card sitting in the receiving seat: the group hands each person back a horizon, not just an answer.

6 · The Immediate Lesson (Below Center)
Judgement — Reversed
The hurdle directly in front of the group is a reckoning being avoided. Reversed Judgement will not let anyone skip this call to self-examination for much longer.

7 · The Collective Evolution (Above Center)
Ten of Swords
The highest potential of this group runs straight through an ending it hasn't fully faced. The Ten of Swords in this seat isn't punishment, it's completion — the destiny here requires letting something finish all the way, not managing it halfway. What's dying clears the ground for what's next.

Reading the Argument, Not Just the Cards
Notice what the cross is doing as a whole: the center holds a hesitation about purpose, the top and bottom show the gap between what the group displays and what it hides, the left and right show the exchange members make with each other, and the vertical axis above and below the center carries the group from its immediate lesson up toward its evolution. That is the real use of this layout — not seven separate fortunes, but one figure read along two crossing lines. Pull the Community Mandala when you are reading for the group, not the individual, and let it tell one story instead of seven.
